Una piacevolissima occasione di confronto con chi vive l'amore per il Milan ben oltre confine.

"Ciao Andrea, sono Alexander Fay e rispondo io a nome di tutti i ragazzi del Club".

(Hi Andrea, I'm Alexander Fay and i answer on behalf of all guys in the Club).

Quando avete fondato il Club e come siete organizzati?

(When was the Club and how was it organized?)

"Il Club fu fondato il 12 Gennaio 2014 da Fabio Parente.

Il Milan aveva appena subito una sconfitta contro la neo promossa Sassuolo e Fabio decise che festeggiare da soli non era divertente, soffrire era quasi una miseria.

Abbiamo circa 100 membri e facciamo regolarmente viaggi a Milano per le partite".

(Milan Club Dublin was formed in January 12th - 2014 by Fabio Parente.

AC Milan had just suffered a defeat to newly promoted Sassuolo and Fabio had decided that while celebrating alone was not fun, suffering alon was miserable.

We have around 100 members and make regular trips over to AC Milan for matches).

Prima volta a San Siro?

(First time at San Siro?)

"Molti dei nostri iscritti vanno a San Siro da decenni!

La nostra ultima visita fu nel Gennaio 2020, quando vincemmo 3-2 contro l'Udinese.

Rebic segnò all'ultimo minuto .

E' stato fantastico viverlo di persona".

(A lot of our members have been going to San Siro for decades!

Our last visit was in January 2020, when we saw a 3-2 win against Udinese.

Rebic scored a last minute winner that was fantastic to see in person).

Come si vive la passione per il Milan a Dublino?

(How do live the passion for AC Milan in Dublin?)

"Ci incontriamo per ogni partita al Woolshed di Dublino, beviamo pinte e cantiamo a squarciagola mentre guardiamo il Milan.

Ogni giorno della partita è pieno di passione".

(We meet up for every match at the Woolshed in Dublin and have pints and sing our hearts out while watching AC Milan.

Every match day is full of passion).

Cosa rappresenta per voi la maglia del Milan?

(What does AC Milan shirt mean to you?)

"Significa molto personalmente, sono cresciuto guardando il Milan nei primi anni 2000 con fantastiche icone come Maldini ancora in campo, vederlo ora di nuovo al Club e' una cosa speciale.

Mi rende orgoglioso di indossare i nostri colori".

(It means quite a lot personally, i grew up watching AC Milan in the early 2000s with fantastic icons like Maldini still playing, to see him now back at the Club is special.

It makes me proud to wear the shirt).

Quali eventi avete organizzati in giro per l'Europa?

(What events have you organized around Europe?)

"Grazie alla nostra visibilità, abbiamo raccolto fondi necessari per le organizzazioni di beneficienza locali e internazionali contro la povertà, il razzismo, i problemi di salute mentali e altro ancora.

Un esempio è il nostro torneo annuale di calcio a 5 di beneficienza con altri 5 Club di tifosi Irlandesi.

Per le nostre partite più importanti, come ad esempio il Derby, spesso abbiamo più di 100 persone nel nostro bar per cantare e tifare.

Abbiamo avuto grandi eventi come l' esposizione della Champions League 2007 e prima del Covid avevamo programmato un incontro con Sebastiano Rossi.

Abbiamo anche legami con altri Club del Milan come quello di Philadelphia e ci piace organizzare ritrovi ogni volta che ve ne sia la possibilità".

(Whit our visibility we have raised much needed funds for local and international charity organisations to combat poverty, racism, mental health issues and more.

One example is our annual charity 5-a-side tournament with other Irish supporters Clubs.

For our biggest matches, like the Derby, we often have over 100 people at our bar to watch and sing.

We've had great events like the Champions League trophy from 2007 visit us, and before Covid we had planned for Sebastiano Rossi to visit us too.

We also have strong links to other Milan Clubs like Philly, and enjoy organising meet-ups whenever we can with other rossoneri like that).

Raccontami un aneddoto, quello a cui sei più legato.

(Tell me an anecdote you're most attached to)

"Sicuramente quando il MIlan ha giocato contro lo Shamrock Rovers a Dublino l'anno scorso.

Abbiamo fatto alcune riprese con Roc Nation e siamo stati presenti sui social media del Milan il che è stato fantastico per noi.

Ci siamo divertiti molto e siamo davvero grati per esser stati supportati ufficialmente dal Club".

(It has to be when AC Milan playied Shamrock Rovers in Dublin last year.

We did some filming with Roc Nation and were featured on AC Milan social media which was fantastic for us.

We had a great time, and were really appreciative to be supported by the Club officially).

Cosa ne pensi delle vicende Donnarumma-Calhanoglu?

(What do you think of Donnarumma-Calhanoglu storie's?)

"Sono molto deluso per dirla semplicemente.

In particolar modo con Gigio, giocatore che ha baciato lo stemma e si è sempre dichiarato un vero rossonero.

Lui stesso, e in un secondo momento Hakan, hanno cercato di tenere in ostaggio il Club, ma Maldini non ha permesso loro di farlo.

Sono felice che entrambi se ne siano andati, nonostante apprezzi quello che hanno fatto per riportarci in Champions League".

(I would very disappointed, to put it simply.

Particularly with Gigio, a player who has kissed the crest and paraded himself as a true rossonero.

Himself, and to a latter extent Hakan, have tried to hold the Club to ransom and Maldini and co. did not allow them to do this.

I'm happy both are gone, but still appreciative for their time and what they did to get us to Champions League next season).

"Sembrerà strano, ma il coro che preferisco è quello per Castillejo sulle note di Despacito, uno dei nostri membri iniziò a cantarlo durante una partita .

E' semplicemente molto divertente!

Il testo parla di sostituire Donnarumma per portare Castillejo".

(It will look strange, but my favourite AC Milan song has to be one about Castillejo to the tune of Despacito one of our members started singing at a match.
